This is the 'Tulipa Auricula' Slip Skirt, one of my new print compositions, from The Art Collection.
A labour of love, I have carefully sourced and curated images of evocative artworks and ephemera from the 16th-19th Centuries.
I imagined billowy skirts in large-scale prints and so set about enhancing and arranging images into pleasing compositions, which were then beautifully printed for me here in Melbourne.
Designed to be worn under other tops, the Slip Skirt is loose, so very comfortable to wear and easy to layer. The bodice is very simple, fastening-free and made from a lovely compactly woven cotton. The skirt has been digitally-printed on organic cotton poplin, in a beautifully-bodied weight, with just the right amount of stiffness and delicious 'crunch' when scrunched.
A lover of deep hems, this has a generous 14cm hem in a complementary print.
A card with full care details will accompany your purchase, and there is also a care label inside the skirt.
Please check your measurements, before ordering, against the following finished garment measurements.
